Sonic Adventure 4 is a adventure, platformer, strategy game for the Nintendo Wii U, released in 2019 and the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in 2020.
Plot[]
50 years ago, the Black Comet was destroyed by the Ultimate Life Form and Earth was peaceful. But 25 years later, Chaos revived from the Master Emerald and flooded the whole country. It's up to Sonic and his friends to save the country.
Sonic the Hedgehog's Story[]

In the present day, Dr. Eggman learns the new legends of the Knotholes and invents a new creation from the destroyed, wrecked Metal Sonic and data from the Knotholes, creating Metal Knothole. While that happened, Chaos's puddle slid into the machine, making it go crazy and chaos that Eggman called it Metal Knothole Chaos. Knothole Chaos leads a temporary army to defeat Sonic.
Shadow the Hedgehog's Story[]
Main Article: G.U.N. Shadows (Sonic Adventure 4)
A week ago, Shadow and Rouge were finding the Black Chaos Emerald, dodging G.U.N. companies which might capture them. They are then seen in a spotlight of a G.U.N. helicopter. Soliders then fired the wall to find Shadow and Rouge telling them a lie. When they were not looking, Shadow and Rouge escaped and G.U.N. soldiers were shooting their guns. Shadow then used Chaos Control to get out of the attack.
